3 Act Search Engine
Here is a fun tool developed by Robert Kaplinksy that searches great blogs and sites for lesson ideas:

Also make sure to browse the sites he has chosen. The work happening there is top notch.

Session Summary April 2014
We covered the fast hands three act and shared ideas and resources around time distance graphs.
We started with Dan Meyer's graphing stories and then talked about Desmos application function carnival.
We also talked about how to use Logger Pro with the Vernier Motion Detector. This also led to a discussion of the physic's lesson on Flappy bird.
We also shared my favorite new app reflector, which turns your phone or tablet into a portable document camera (and more).
We also shared some other resources, including Smart Test Prep and a fun scale factor lesson from Math lab called Blow'em up cartoons.

Fast Clapping 3 Act
Fawn Nguyen posted this:
Mr. Kraft saw an opportunity for a three act: https://mrkraft.wikispaces.com/Fast+Clapper
I reworked the video as an introduction to linear regression for the 8th and 9th grade CCSS.
You can download it here.
